Membership of BIO brings the benefit of regular ‘learning with others opportunities. There is already over 25 hours of recorded learning, covering a wide range of CPD topics, you can claim. These are regularly uploaded for reference to the BIO members area, with minutes or download resources. To make this easy I have now added the CPD hours for each BIO Zoom so you can take the info you need easily to submit CPD. I will be adding the films we made on the BIO member’s days for 2023 soon as they are edited ready in the next couple of weeks.
The two BIO members days for 2024 are:
28th April 2024 The importance of good bowel health with Linda Booth of ‘Just for Tummies’
This day will focus on good bowel health, from what goes in to what goes out! Diet, lesionology covering all the fields from mental, physiological to mechanical to proximate principles, signs that tell us something is wrong and right!. The quiz this time will cover core bullet points and let’s make sure we get into teams and find some winners! This day will include practical measures from Howard and Linda to make sure your patients get the best support for good bowel health.

Balens competitive insurance scheme, which the more members join, enables us to keep our low risk in the group and generate an audit of this positive fact of our practice. Please consider moving your insurance to the BIO block scheme if you have not already done so. They also do competitive working from home insurance.
